This multi-family building with five condominiums is situated on a hillside in the Ergolz Valley, in a quiet residential area. The two-story structure, with its recessed penthouse and ground floor, is articulated by its L-shape, featuring two sloping sides and a staggered volume. On the street side, a 4.5-meter-high retaining wall separates the garden area from the access road. The ground floor, the living area, opens onto the terrace created by this wall, with a large cooking and dining area. The upper floor houses the evening rooms, with living rooms and bedrooms. The attic serves as access to the large roof terrace with views of the Grisons Oberland. Inside and out, the house is constructed in solid masonry and plastered with natural lime mortar, while all fixtures such as windows, doors, and sliding shutters are made of solid wood. To make the internal generational change of a long-standing law firm we have been assisting visible to the outside world, it was time for a spatial makeover. Approximately 10 years ago, we already completed the full interior design project for the law firm near Offenbacher Marktplatz. In close collaboration with the client, we asked ourselves how we could best integrate the private art collection into the premises. Our interior concept uses the existing artworks as an integral part of the re-design - the entire color scheme is derived from the art collection. Project for FragtalTower has been made as a complex composed of four towers with totally 96 regular floors and 2-storied as a shopping center at ground level. Floor height is 3.60 m.  Total height is about 380 meters. This is the minimum height which is necessary so that the proportions of the buiilding are maintained. Alternatively, the building has been devised as a complex composed of 144 regular floors and 2-storied shopping center at ground level, with a total height of 545 meters.
