Designed by SAOTA, South Villa is a five-storey penthouse in the award-winning Clifton Terraces apartments on Victoria Road, Cape Town. Its elevated position draws in expansive ocean views and local landmarks such as Table Mountain and Clifton’s pristine beaches.

The building’s deep overhangs and a restrained natural palette of materials blend into the natural surroundings while landscaped terraces on each level ensure that the building will settle even more effectively into its environment over time. Bora Headquarters
This relaxed resort-style home and work environment, a short flight from Germany, blends into its surrounding bucolic landscape through its use of form and locally inspired materials. Designed by SAOTA, it reflects a contemporary take on Mallorca’s architecture. The client’s vision for Bora Headquarters was inspired by the airy light-filled spaces of SAOTA’s Cape Town projects that they had previously visited. The complex, steeply sloping, site required careful placement of the building to provide comfortable pedestrian and vehicular access.
