New Medical Emergencies System HQ

The new headquarters of the Medical Emergencies System (SEM) was designed by b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos and AECOM and built by the Joint Venture Ferrovial Construcción – Climava. The building is the winning proposal of the public competition organized by CatSalut in 2022, which aimed to address the challenge of designing and constructing a 21,000 m² building in just 20 months, considering the inherent constraints this entails. Open Centre of Tarragona

The project is located in the city of Tarragona, on a site owned by the Departament de Justícia, which is located in an area of urban expansion that starts from the Plaça de les Corts Catalanes, adjacent to the Francolí river park. The project is a collaboration of b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos and JAAS Architects. Adrià Goula Volumetrically, the penitentiary building has two bodies arranged in the longitudinal direction of the site and one on the ground floor perpendicular to them as an access. SWITCH – New Simon Headquarters

An obsolete factory in the Poblenou neighbourhood of Barcelona has been carefully restored by Spanish architectural studio b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos (b720). Once the Simon electrical material factory, the building has been transformed into Simon’s new corporate headquarters. The headquarters integrates over 350 employees previously dispersed across two offices into one unified campus. The rehabilitation preserves the concrete structure of the mid-20th-century industrial building while introducing new elements to support its function as a corporate hub, promoting openness and connectivity with the surroundings. Simon Showroom "La Casa de la Luz"

The refurbishment of the premises for Simón's offices and showroom in Madrid arose from the need to unite both functional programmes in a single space capable of being a benchmark of the sector in the city. The project takes into consideration the client’s will to transmit a familiar and bold image, at the same time as a technological and global projection of the future, while remaining human. Polaris North Offices

This intervention is based on the pre-existence of a building on the plot and, taking partial advantage of its structure and foundations, generates a large platform on which a new, more efficient, representative and functional building rests. The demolition of the upper section of the original building allows for unconstrained growth from the first floor up, generating a reception area as a loggia with a large porticoed area. On this base plinth, five floors are added with peripheral work areas and a central core with a new distribution of services and vertical circulation.
