Projet • By Vásquez & López Architects • Maisons privées

Villa E, Amazon red clay Architecture.

Villa E is situated on the urban limits of the Pucallpa city and proposes a way of inhabiting the Amazon rooted in simplicity, efficiency, and respect for the territory, with the aim of integrating and becoming part of a greater ecosystem. Above all, its architecture serves as a bridge between the daily life of a family made up of two sub-units and the untamed nature that surrounds it, enhancing the richness of the landscape, and responding sensitively to the unique features of the site and the living patterns of its occupants. ©Vásquez & López Arquitectos From a contemporary perspective, the design proposes a simple and honest interaction with the natural environment, applying strategies from Amazonian vernacul... Capturing proportions: Masurian houses

On a peninsula surrounded by a vast lake, in a setting that feels almost surreal, designers from NOKE have created a unique architectural project. In this intimate complex of holiday homes, they propose an alternative to the popular barn-style house, blending traditional Masurian materials, forms, and – above all – proportions with modern prefabricated timber technology. Every detail, down to the interiors, has been meticulously refined. Piotr Maciaszek Pasym is a town straight out of a postcard. Above its red rooftops rise the spires of churches and the town hall, while the reflections of its charming panorama dance across the surfaces of three lakes. The best views can be found on the expansive Ostrów peninsula, w... En savoir plus

Parikrama

Approached by a friend who represents a Minimal-window producer from Portugal, called PANORAMAH. We, were given the task of developing a sort of case study home, in the Murud region amidst a coconut grove.  The windows being super high-tech and modern in their presence were meant to disappear against the verdant view.   javiercallejas.com Caption Caption The plan evolved like a two headed worm, with the sleeping spaces in series and the higher main living and dining spaces flanking opposite ends of the series. The idea being, the tracing of a PARIKRAMA, a circum-ambulatory path, while moving from spaces, always in contact with the outside.  javiercallejas.com javiercallejas.com javiercallej... House in the forest

The house is located on the border that separates a suburban development of single-family houses and a protected forest area. The main strategy followed in the project is to let the house take advantage of this special location and make the most of its double condition by merging them both; the wild nature of the forest on the one hand and the built or suburban environment on the other. Alberto Amores Alberto Amores Alberto Amores For this, the proposal aims to combine the building and the garden in one single solution, which is to be understood as the continuity of the wild forest into the plot. Hence, different types of spaces are proposed: some are designed to be occupied by people, others by nature, and the rest by both... En savoir plus
