Café On-Site

Located in a small town in Zhejiang, China, Café On-Site(开场Kai-Chang) is conceived as a field of energy for neighborhoods. Beyond serving locally inspired signature coffee and food, the café focuses on human gathering and interaction — on how energy flows, accumulates, and connects within a spatial setting. We developed the project holistically, including brand strategy, naming, visual identity, and interior design. “开场(Kai-Chang)” carries three layers of meaning: [1]Opening / Introduction — the moment when a performance begins, when the stage is set. [2]Place / Spirit of Place — “场(Chang)” refers to a site, extending to the atmosphere and spirit embedded within it. [3]“Ch... More

Orilla

Orilla  is envisioned as a warm, character-rich neighbourhood restaurant and lounge rooted in Mediterranean coastal living. The design tells a layered story, where vintage references, handcrafted details, and natural materials create an immediate emotional connection. Arrival is marked by an intimate entrance corridor, wrapped in wooden cladding, green arches, floral tiles, and woven lighting that sets a nostalgic tone. Throughout the space, arches, half-circle motifs, and textured ceilings create rhythm, depth, and visual continuity. The bar acts as a central anchor, defined by green 3D vintage tiles, warm wood detailing, and a striking violet marble top. A cane canopy and fringed lighting above the bar introduce a relaxed bistro atmo... More

Saizon

Los Angeles-based Studio UNLTD introduces Saizon restaurant, a design project encompassing the interiors, lighting, facade, and patio of a 5,300 square foot interior restaurant with 805 square feet of outdoor dining within a freestanding building as part of a new mixed-use development in Fresno, CA.  In the design for Saizon, Studio UNLTD explores the tension between the opposing qualities of permanence, represented by architectural structure, and fluidity, symbolized by the perpetual ebb and flow of the ocean.  Heavily plastered columns and beams, reminiscent of decaying concrete pier supports add a dramatic gridded framework to the room while board-formed concrete wall tiles provide texture and depth.  Contrasting with the... La Cour Bar

Yuuuunstudio Yuuuunstudio In the post-epidemic era, our lives seem to be fast-forwarded. Given the uncertainty over the future, we are accustomed to fighting against time. Our lives have become more dynamic under this circumstance. As designers, we wonder if the city or life in this era can be cleaner, quieter, friendlier, and greener, which can bring a special comfort zone for everyone. Caption Caption Caption Caption The word “La cour” is originally from French and means backyard in Chinese. The backyard is treated as an intimate place in our minds---a place to relax and relieve. Café de Parel

Introduction De Parel is a silent invitation to experience without expectations or presumptions. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a bar, café, bistro or gastro-pub; whether it’s chic, modern or casual. If you come here to enjoy a glass of wine or a bite, that should be the only focal point – this is a place where you’ll find a real connection to the producers of the vegetables on your plate, the makers of the ceramics and the wine, the owner and host Ruudje, and the Chef himself. That is why everything centres around the bar. In addition to a broad selection of natural and biodynamic wines served from behind the bar – the menu includes over 60 – you can see your food being prepared as if it we... More
