Volksschule Stammersdorf
Originally built in 1958 as a secondary school, the existing building is undergoing a comprehensive renovation and expansion. By increasing the number of classrooms from 14 to 22, we are unlocking new possibilities for modern education. We are transforming the pre-existing layout into a contemporary, cluster-based learning environment designed to foster interaction, collaboration, and individual support. Fortunately, the structural and spatial framework of the original building allows us to implement these modern pedagogical spaces with minimal intervention, upgrading the existing wings to seamlessly match the high architectural quality of the new extension.

Volksschule Christian-Bucher-Gasse
Executed in three construction phases while the school remained fully operational, this project expands a 1950s modernist structure. The expansion introduces five standard classrooms, two recreational classrooms with dedicated group areas, a sports hall, a gymnastics room, and an administrative wing. Additionally, the pre-existing gymnasium was retrofitted into a vibrant dining and multifunctional event space.

Heilbronn City Library
DIA Dittel Architekten is responsible for the high-quality refurbishment and redesign of the Heilbronn City Library in the lively cultural and shopping centre Theaterforum K3. After a two-year restructuring phase, the library has been given a new lease of life and provides a forum for communication and encounters with modern, contemporary architecture.

DIA has extended and modernised the Heilbronn City Library, creating a representative venue for interaction and intergenerational learning. The overriding aim of the conversion of the existing building was to create a modern appearance and a high sojourn quality through functional zoning and a variety of uses.

From garden baths to an amusement palace with a revue theatre - the Admiralspalast on Berlin's Friedrichstrasse has been constantly showing new faces since its opening in 1911. With the sensitive redesign of the upper floors as the headquarters of a digital service provider, Kinzo Architekten have managed the balancing act between eventful history and a future-oriented working environment.
Since its opening, the Admiralspalast has proved to be a place of many possibilities.
