Residential building in Sant Climent

Residential building located on a plot at Travessia Prat de la Riba in Sant Climent de Llobregat. It consists of seven apartments with front and rear facades. This layout allows for cross ventilation and ample natural light. Del Rio Bani On one side, the street-facing facade features a composition of sliding windows combined with wooden slats that, in some areas, provide shade to the apartments. Together, they create longitudinal patches that offer a formal order to the facade. On the other hand, the rear facade opens onto a public garden area through balconies, where wooden slats also serve as a formal element. In this case, they span from floor to floor, adding character to the balconies and the building. Del Rio Bani More

Social housing apartments in Viladecans

The site is unfortunately placed under the effect of three completely different urban plans. This means that the plot has conflicting parameters and it needs to be reevaluated in order to solve these conflicts. Therefore the project starts with a specific modification of the urban plan to adjust the urban parameters, the building's density and its uses. Pedro Pegenaute Pedro Pegenaute The building, with facades on two different streets, solves the different hight parameters established for each street by splitting the building in two separate entities using an inner passage from which you can access the buildings. House in Can Guardiola

The building follows the triangular shape of the plot whilst it grows in a spiral structure in order to find views and light. Pedro Pegenaute Pedro Pegenaute Therefore, the central empty space becomes a patio used to articulate the communication between spaces and is used to introduce light into the interior spaces and give them a sense of openness. Pedro Pegenaute Pedro Pegenaute Pedro Pegenaute The facade and the roof are made with zinc plates, a light facade option that allows cantilevers that span up to eight meters creating a provocative and singular volumetry. Stark Future Headquarters

One of the primary aims of the project is to align with the company's philosophy, minimizing its environmental impact through the use of a wide array of natural and ecological materials. This approach achieves a significant reduction in the use of plastics across various elements, spanning from construction materials to furniture. The incorporation of natural carpets or concrete as flooring, solid wood in furniture, ceramics and stone in cladding, cellulose in ceilings, and lime paints not only aids to fulfilling these objectives but also, combined with the greenery and natural light, conveys a sense of comfort and domesticity that was a key pursuit in the design. Viladecans funeral home

This project includes the design and construction of Viladecans's funeral home as well as the design and construction of the adjacent public spaces and roads connected to the C-245 region's highway. Caption Caption The building is carefully positioned against the landscape, allowing the building's great concrete facade sheet to fold and become the natural prolongation of the graveyard's existing field. Now, where the concrete roof folds and transforms the old field into a plaza, the public square visually extends beyond the building completing the scenery with the sight of the Llobregat's delta. As the concrete sheet folds into the building's facade, a parametric play of calculated perforations lightens the weight of the sheet w... More

Residential building Joaquim Valls

The building is situated on a corner between two streets with very different characteristics: on one side, Pablo Iglesias Street boasts the width of an avenue; on the other, Joaquim Valls Street is a narrow road that follows the historic layout of the neighborhood. The structure engages in a dialogue with its surroundings through a stepped design, aligning itself with the heights of buildings along each street and creating terraces that offer privileged views of the city. Caption Furthermore, the large openings incorporate multiple layers to address solar control, privacy, acoustic insulation, thermal regulation, and visual aesthetics. Through a distinctive architectural approach, every aspect of functionality and user comfort is meti... More
