Fredag & Fretland
In the village of Lærdal, along the inner reaches of Norway’s Sognefjord, a former fenced-in warehouse from the 1980s has been transformed by MORFEUS arkitekter into a bakery and café. Fredag & Fretland is more than a commercial conversion; it is an act of adaptive reuse that aligns environmental responsibility with social regeneration. Through strategic preservation, volunteer-driven restoration, and architectural intervention, the project demonstrates how modest buildings can be reimagined as civic anchors.

This new location is not just a store; it is a community hub, a space designed to connect, unwind, and inspire. Maha Plus serves as a cozy and inviting atmosphere whe... More
