Vineyard Compound

The residence sits in a working vineyard, elevated to view the full expanse of the fields. The compound consists of a guest house with bedrooms on a lower level, a screen porch, and future main house surrounding a raised pool terrace. An infinity edge spa and pool reflecting the fields and sky beyond is viewed from the interior living space. The exteriors are inspired by utilitarian farming materials, including rusted corten siding, wood planks, and galvanized tie rod "X" bracing. Telescope House

Located on a long, narrow lot along the eastern shores of Lake Michigan, the house brings views of the water into all of the major living spaces, while maintaining privacy from the adjacent buildings. The lakeside of the house focuses light into the interior with floor-to-ceiling windows and upward sloping roof planes. Ashley Avila Photography Ashley Avila Photography Ashley Avila Photography Ashley Avila Photography Compressed between the garage and the property line, the entry walk terminates at a stone wall that continues into the interior of the foyer. A narrow slot by the front door creates a scope through which one can see the lake beyond the expanding living area. The slot has also proved to be a popular sentry p... More

liveperson

Design team: Koen Klinkers, Will Galloway, Daniel Yu, Evan Taylor The core business of Liveperson is communication and connection over the internet. What they do is spatially invisible. And yet they are keen to work in a place that is obviously of Tokyo and Japan. For us it made the best sense to take inspiration from the crowded centers of the city like Shibuya crossing. At first blush it is a confusing place, but in reality the crossing is highly effective at communication, and ironically is a landmark for Tokyo-ites and visitors, used as a gathering place for meetings, often by those who have never been to the city before. A true contemporary space it is defined by people and activity rather than iconic objects. Caption Liveperson... More

BRO HOUSE

This renovation comes from the idea of giving to the client an open concept of his house that could be adapted in the future to multiple configurations. Using a modern language of architectural design, the house had to be open to changes. The main idea was then using a cement panels core that could give sense to the full house, being use from the different spaces of today and tomorrow. In different heighs, they are used as storage or shelves for being used through many directions. Surrounding it, the white and luminous spaces are developed with different grades of relation, from the privacy of bedrooms to the openness of living areas. More

ohe house

This reconstructed house is located in an old residential neighborhood. The north side of the house faces a street and the other three sides are facing neighbors’ houses, which made it challenging for us to open up the space to the outside. Thus, our focus was to design a comfortable interior space.  The entrance and the living space are intentionally separated in a way that one can feel both outside and inside at the entrance. Our intention is to create a ”comfortable disorder” and a unique connection between interior, exterior, and somewhere in between.  The entrance has a kind of stillness reminiscent of a museum. A door to the living space cuts out from the entrance in a square shape, and the atmosphere cha... More

Classical Penthouse interior design, Bucharest

The style of this house is above all, elegant and practical. We put emphasis on the functionality of the objects, without any excess of details nor accessories. Each space was personalized, starting from the entrance hall to the children's rooms. The whole design has a harmonized unit, and contrast can be found only in the master bedroom and dining room, where red-claret was chosen for the wallpaper and curtains.   The space has a generous lobby, very bright due to the bright colors we picked for the decorative paint and the lighting objects. The minimalist and white furniture was custom-made and it consists of an elegant TV console with some storage drawers.    From the lobby you enter the living room through a double-gl... More

Casas Asu

Located in a exceptional and privileged place, the houses of Asu are designed as single family houses that dance at the same rhythm. Due to the adjustment of the houses to the slope, they are a composition of volumes in movement that, being part of a family, maintain their own independence. This movement gives kindness to the volume, dinamism and visual richness. On one hand, every house is adapted to the needs of each owner. On the other hand, they have the soft and friendly finishes common. They also take advantage of the natural light that comes from the Cantabrian Sea.   The volumetric game seems essential. Its vertical and horizontal movement makes easier the adaptability to the slope of the terrain and allows the entry of natur... More

ByExtensive

On a return to the origins, the challenge of a tricky complex site waits for us, these that lead to the best projects. A small village full of irregularity, with a field of view marked by miscellaneous rooftops. In the distance the impressiveness of the city tower contrasts with the featureless construction on the side.Reacting to the intricacy of the place, seeking coherence and chasing the surrounding logic, a responsible integration is reached. The form mimics the surroundings, the materials bring the newness, the house acquires its own identity .. Unique!Forced to align with the neighbor, leaning against it, losing the notion of its presence. Creating a patio we managed to "delay" the house, the first bound - Scenic - leaves a mark in th...
