The Construction strategy of this Hospital building is to employ prefabrication of all its steel frame components.Modules of a building are assembled at a remote location, then transported to the building site. Thus  making the construction highly efficient. The ultra modern exterior features a red cross as its facade to immediately make it distinguishable as a hospital building. Location: Sector 28, Chandigarh Year of Construction : 2005 So the old sewage connection was retained..........basically to save oneself from harassment from the sharks in the various departments connected with house sanction, and concomitant procedures. The plot was a large one – upwards of around 1500 sq yds. - which could qualify locally as a 3 kanal house. (1 kanal = 1/8 of an acre = 4840/8=605 sq yds.) This stylish nightclub interior in Mohali, part of the Chandigarh Tricity which is designed be in continuous motion with its ever-changing lighting is set to be a psychedelic fluid experience for party goers. This design philosophy is repeated on the exterior façade of the premisis. In this private residence for an Industrialist in Le Corbusier's city of Chandigarh, care had to be taken to keep the project in spirit with Le Corbusier's precepts, as well as satisfy the family's requirement for individual spaces for each member. The project vastly increased the interior space by judicious use of partitions, as well as increased opening sizes giving out to the outside. Material used was local brick and hand poured concrete for the roof slabs. An extra floor was added to the top (seen in photo dating from 2001). Local contractors were used for the building work. More
