An interplay between vertical retaining walls and horizontal wall panels made of exposed concrete and vertical, rough wooden surfaces made of chestnut forms the motif of the architectural design. The rooms for wine bottle storage and tasting are sunk into the cool slope so that they do not appear too dominant. The entrance façade on the valley side remains above ground and opens up to the opposite side of the Isarco Valley with the Dolomites in the background.
