The architectural studio Zenzerosso was responsible for the renovation of a 116 m2 flat for a family with children in Moscow, Russia. The biggest challenge for Natalia Malinovskaya and Ekaterina Yablokova, founders of the studio, was to rearrange the various rooms, to optimize the existing space and to make new ones. This apartment was designed for a young couple with a child. The main task was to combine comfort and style. In this project we used materials such as metal, cement and wood. In addition to the graffiti color, it was used as an accent, which added dynamics to the interior. All together makes the interior special and with its own character - soft, light, but at the same time strict.Deep Ocean is about this design. The depth of the interior is achieved due to the black and blue colors that resemble the ocean, and the concrete resembles pebbles on its shores. MEETING A GREATER NEEDThe Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House has a long history of supporting families of seriously ill children, beginning in 1974. When the time came to increase their capacity, they looked to renowned local architecture firm Ewing Cole and experienced contractor P. Agnes to expand a 40,000-square-foot facility.Capacity had been a constant challenge before the project. In 2018, 7,152 families that requested care could not be accommodated.
