The architectural studio Zenzerosso was responsible for the renovation of a 116 m2 flat for a family with children in Moscow, Russia. The biggest challenge for Natalia Malinovskaya and Ekaterina Yablokova, founders of the studio, was to rearrange the various rooms, to optimize the existing space and to make new ones.
The family immediately showed a preference for cool tones but accepted the possibility of having brighter spots. For this reason, the studio selected most of the coverings and furniture in neutral colours to emphasize the accent details.
Zenzerosso designed the children's room in the same style as the house, opting for modern furniture and soft colours. It also decided to include wallpaper to visually expand the space and give the bedroom a strong identity. The choice fell on the geometric wallpaper 'Eleanor'. With its motif of arches and stairs, it creates a play of perspectives that makes the eye wander.
