 Puchina High Table by Nüvist • A #vortex is an area in a fluid where the flow spins around an axis line that might be straight or curved in fluid dynamics. Smoke rings, whirlpools in a boat's wake, and the winds around a tropical cyclone, #tornado, or dust devil are all examples of vortices that develop in stirred fluids. The dynamics of vortices are a significant idea and source of inspiration for the Puchina high table. The motions and flows of the vortices have defined the form of the table. Ingenuity Media City

Ahead of The Hut Group’s landmark 1 Million sq. ft. campus development, The Hut Group needed space to cater for their rapid growth, so PENSON came to the rescue with interim offices to supply THG’s (The Hut Group’s) fast-track expansion. PENSON has delivered two high-performing offices for The Hut Group at Airport City Manchester to aid headcount issues for the interim period, with a further office remaining a permanent fixture for THG’s future presence at Media City, Manchester. All three sites house integral THG teams, including Ingenuity programmers based at Manchester’s Media City site, as well as creative and brand teams in 4M and Voyager, based at Airport City Manchester. Triodos Bank

The natural surroundings of the Estate were considered during the development of the new office. The design and construction are centred around principles of nature and biomimicry. Biomimetic architecture seeks solutions for sustainability in nature by following its set of principles and using it as a model, taking inspiration from natural designs and processes. Building heights have been adjusted to remain below the treeline.
