The Sadra Civic Center project has been designed in the newly-built town of Sadra with the purpose of raising the grade and cultural standards of this recently-formed town, which has practically turned into a subservient to a megacity like Shiraz as a result of its proximity to such a large a city. For this reason, several thematically cultural projects have been designated in one of the major hubs of the town. nARCHITECTS was commissioned by the City of Auburn, NY and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to design the New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center and public outdoor space in historic Auburn, NY. The new 7,500sf project transformed a former municipal parking lot into the new civic and cultural heart of historic Auburn, NY, home of Harriet Tubman. The kult is a new cultural hub for the town of Vreden and a vibrant focal point on its cultural route. NOMO Studio has revealed their proposal for a new civic centre in the town of La Rinconada, Spain. The design reflects the historical traces of pre-existing silos and recognizes their unique volumes as part of the history of the town. The new building serves as a symbol of the future through a contemporary and renewed image of the heritage.The curved volumes, free of strict alignments and lacking clear front and back, invite the passer-by to enter the courtyard where the main entrance is located. Day center and home for the elderly of Blancafort. A social building necessary for the elderly of the village of Blancafort and its neighboring municipalities. The initial observation of the plot and its environment led to consider that the future building did not have to solve only a program and a requirement of an isolated building, but it also had to help consolidate the nearest urban fabric, creating an entrance to the village with its own personality and public character.
