The Sadra Civic Center project has been designed in the newly-built town of Sadra with the purpose of raising the grade and cultural standards of this recently-formed town, which has practically turned into a subservient to a megacity like Shiraz as a result of its proximity to such a large a city. LightBOX at Winn Park takes the concept of the traditional town square and transforms it into the idea of the neighborhood squares, where everyday activities can create a new hub for social life. Each square gives a variety of program to the neighborhood and can act as the neighborhood ‘living room’ where movies, plays, weddings, farmers markets, art events, festivals, and holiday events can play out. The once underutilized fire alarm service building at the center of the park is revitalized into a public amenity with a beacon placed over it to act as the focal point for these neighborhood activities. Santa Monica Civic Centre Parks, Palisades Garden Walk + Town Square
Project Details:
- Client is a giant construction company headquartered in Chicago.
- The project was to create Architectural, Structural & MEP BIM Models for their new upcoming park to be build up in California.
- Scope of work was to provide client BIM Models with LOD-300 for a Public Park
Challenges:
- The client provided us inputs like hand drawn sketches, conceptual sketches, pdf files etc. First thing to do was to understand inputs in different forms through proper & effective client communication.
- The important task was to add on the creativity to the project to give it an excellent architectural look.
