Tobe Zoological Park Toilet
Taking advantage of Tobe’s verdant surroundings, Ehime Prefecture Zoological Park opened its doors at its current location in 1988.
Over time, wear and tear, coupled with new regulations, rendered the upgrade of its facilities mandatory. YanoAoyama’s proposal is an integral part of these rejuvenation efforts, exploring how a small piece of public infrastructure can respond to, and embed itself, in the generous and rich natural landscape of the park.

Wisdome Stockholm
Wisdome Stockholm is a forward-looking extension of the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, Sweden (known in Swedish as Tekniska museet). Designed by Stockholm-based Elding Oscarson, the 1,325-square-metre extension has a sweeping and sculptural dome-shaped roof. This timber gridshell structure is the first known gridshell built from flat, standard laminated veneer lumber (LVL) panels.

Environmentally conscious Penedés home by nook architects embraces the earthiness of a small Spanish village
Surrounded by forests, fields and vineyards in the Penedés region of Spain, this house by nook architects is located in a small town that has recently seen new life and population growth thanks to the alternative education projects of its schools. Seeking out this education alternative for their children, the owners chose to relocate to the village with the vision of a low environmental impact wooden home in mind.
