Exclusive Residence in Port de La Mer, Dubai

We have completed a 516 m² interior design project in Jumeirah 1, one of Dubai’s most prestigious districts overlooking the Persian Gulf. This residence was created for one of the most exclusive  villas in La Mer. Our client is a successful entrepreneur with an extensive international network — a person for whom status and reputation are fundamental. His residence had to function as a personal signature: a space that reflects his achievements, taste, and identity. One requirement was non-negotiable: absolute exclusivity. No standard solutions — only bespoke design, premium furniture, and a curated selection of art pieces created exclusively for his family. The concept is built around the collision of two natu... Restauración y reforma de Edificio para oficinas.

The project involved the renovation of an early 20th-century building between party walls, listed under File 25 (Nuevos Riegos El Progreso) and structurally protected, to adapt its interior for contemporary administrative use. The work was limited to the redistribution of the ground and first floors (175.35 m² usable space), the renovation of finishes, and the restoration of unique elements, while preserving the building envelope, the protected façades, and the configuration of the central courtyard. Oleh Kardash Oleh Kardash The proposal organizes offices, meeting rooms, circulation areas, and services using lightweight dry partition systems on metal framing, with a mineral wool insulation cavity to improve acoustic... Interior Refresh Maida Vale

'it was not about big ideas but small meaningful interventions’ Deciding to move to London later in life our clients bought a small bijoux flat in a converted townhouse. The rear garden and aspect was South facing and was a perfect accompaniment to the flat, and for their pet dog Brian! The flat was in need of upgrading, not only to make it more attractive but practical too for when family members visited for special occasions. We worked on a small part of the flat, the living quarters. The shape of the footprint was awkward, with a conservatory built out to one side leaving the existing space difficult to use. This was a project where we had to use simple clever solutions, it was not about big ideas but small meaningful interventions... Arched office

What a family-run chartered accountancy workspace in Ahmedabad suggests about thresholds, visibility, and everyday collaborationIn many professional offices, especially those built around confidentiality and client trust, openness is often treated with caution. The instinct is understandable. Workplaces for legal, financial, and advisory practices are expected to protect information, support focused work, and maintain a degree of formality. Yet the contemporary office is also expected to encourage exchange, make teams visible to one another, support informal problem-solving, and create a culture that feels less hierarchical without losing professional clarity. Living Horizon Apartment

To gaze upon the vast Atlantic and the silhouette of Brazil’s southeastern coastline: this was the architectural challenge faced by Afetto Lab when taking on the renovation of a 249 m² (2,680 sq. ft.) penthouse in Bertioga, on the coast of São Paulo. Originally segmented and featuring a flow that ignored its privileged views, the property underwent a structural transformation to replace walls with fluidity, ensuring the horizon is the centerpiece of the architecture. Felipe Feca The project, titled Living Horizon Apartment (Apartamento Horizonte Vivo), was born with the mission of converting a rigid floor plan into a fluid summer retreat, capable of hosting three generations of a family around the seascape. “Lu... A space where material, light, and atmosphere come together in harmony. This project embodies our design approach – a dialogue between the natural and the contemporary, where every element contributes to a warm and balanced spatial experience. Caption Caption Caption The mirror, used as an architectural material and placed strategically, creates a play between light and reflection, extending the perception of space and making the environment more dynamic and layered. P.H. Condesa

Located in the Condesa neighborhood, this apartment belongs to a young couple with an active social life who approached us with the request to reconfigure their social area. The initial assessment revealed a narrow, enclosed kitchen that disrupted the flow of the public space within the home. With the understanding that the kitchen often becomes the heart of gatherings and social events, we proposed a layout centered around a large table that serves both as a food preparation area and a communal hub. This move redefined the kitchen as an open, versatile, and welcoming space. Sebastian Braggaar Sebastian Braggaar To meet the functional and storage needs without allowing the kitchen to visually or spatially encroach on other areas... More

Aurum

There are homes, and then there is Aurum - where luxury does not announce itself with grandiosity but lingers in the air, murmuring its presence in every fine detail. A vision born in Dubai yet rooted in Ahmedabad, this residence is an ode to refined indulgence, seamlessly blending the modern opulence of Arab-Mediterranean coasts with the warmth of an Indian embrace. Murtuza Gandhi For a real estate developer accustomed to Dubai’s splendour, the challenge was never about amassing grandeur but sculpting a space where luxury feels effortless. No sharp edges, no ostentation - just a measured cadence of design where every curve, material and finish holds purpose. Murtuza Gandhi Living Room: No chandeliers clamouring for atten... More

APT MARMORATA

"We are in the Testaccio neighborhood, in a building from the early 20th century, along Via Marmorata, a street named after the large deposits of marble and stone that arrived by river or land and were piled up in this place, awaiting sale or processing, since the time of ancient Rome. The renovation focused on redefining the services and a new overall concept to make the spaces more functional and meet the needs of the new client. Edi Solari Edi Solari The essentiality of the lines characterizes the interior design, maintaining the original conformation of the apartment, marked by a central load-bearing spine. The intervention began with the restoration of the exposed vaults. We developed the general layout starting from a distr... More

Urban Treehouse

This project explores the potential to create an urban oasis with the design of the home’s architecture and interiors. This residence is located in a densely-populated neighborhood and its design incorporates a series of indoor-outdoor spaces, connecting the home to its urban context while serving as a sanctuary for the owner and guests. With the design and construction of this project, modern architecture was achieved and introduced unobtrusively into this established community context. Kerri Fukui We were motivated to demonstrate that value can be found in great design at a small scale. The area’s residential real estate market has been increasingly driven by attributing value to scale, resulting in massive, underutilize... More
