Cristina Carulla Studio is an internationally oriented interior design studio based in Barcelona, founded by Cristina Carulla. The studio works across hospitality, residential, and food & beverage projects, creating spaces that are deeply rooted in place, culture, and human experience.
Driven by a design philosophy centered on light, materiality, and narrative, the studio approaches each project as a unique story to be told. Spaces are conceived to feel lived-in, timeless, and emotionally resonant where atmosphere is as important as form, and where beauty emerges through balance, restraint, and intention.
The studio’s origins lie in private residential work, designing bespoke homes with a strong sense of intimacy, craftsmanship, and quiet sophistication. These projects established a foundation of precision and sensitivity that naturally expanded into the hospitality world. Today, Cristina Carulla Studio collaborates with hotel groups and private clients to create distinctive hotels and experiential spaces that feel personal rather than standardized, refined rather than ostentatious.
At the heart of the studio’s practice is a belief in essential design removing the superfluous to reveal what truly matters. Through intelligent reduction, careful proportion, and an obsessive attention to detail, the studio creates environments that endure over time and connect deeply with those who inhabit them.
Cristina Carulla Studio values authenticity over trends, depth over spectacle, and longevity over immediacy. Constantly evolving, the studio draws inspiration from art, travel, craftsmanship, and everyday life, allowing each project to become part of an ongoing dialogue between space, light, and emotion.
