Sway
Inspired by the swaying grasses of Naoshima Island, Sway is a poetic lighting piece that gently responds to the air around it. Drawing from the layered aesthetics of traditional Japanese lanterns and the translucency of washi paper, Anne-Lise and Søren developed a new robotic weaving technique—merging craft and code to create the subtle overlapping of patterns in a new material language. The result is a lamp that not only emits a soft, diffuse glow, but also embodies lightness and motion—suspended on a slender pole, anchored in a sculptural stone base that references natural terrains like riverbeds and dunes. Minimalist, classic and playful, the Lena is a customisable curved linear system based on straight lines and curved sections.
The wide selection of curved lighting profiles gives the designer freedom to design completely unique architectural lighting systems. Mix the straight linear lighting sections with the curved sections and create unique abstract shapes. Combine the curved sections and create an endless wave pendant light.
