Newmark Dallas
The ChallengeAs pandemic-induced restrictions began to lift, Newmark sought to consolidate its Dallas-Fort Worth offices into a single location in Uptown Dallas to improve and elevate the employee experience. To help show Newark what the Future of Work could be, the HKS design team was challenged to create a space where a new culture could be born and nurtured by uniting different groups in a single, highly collaborative and client-facing office.

Summary
- Greenway House is located in an historic 1927 garden neighborhood based on the English Commons tradition of clustering houses around a series of private parkways and tree-lined boulevards

St Andrews Residence
Summary
- This home for a young family of five is sited to take advantage of the secluded lot on a cul-de-sac with sweeping views of the neighboring golf course
- Land use is maximized for outdoor amenities while accommodating a complex program of interior spaces
- The design stacks smaller and more utilitarian spaces in a 3-story rectangular volume freeing room for a lofty single story pavilion housing living, entertaining, and primary suite spaces that all have direct connection to exterior rooms
