ARMEAN HOUSE
A part of a well designed new residential development in Cluj‘s suburbs, this house comes from the start with a good functional layout. Due to this, the interior design adjusted well to the space of the house, improving it’s usability. The requirements of the owners were the functionality of a simple way of life, a budget investment and a modern approach that would create a cosy home. To combine these aspects in the design we used the warmth of wood in a balanced combination with the walls and ceilings’ luminous white and the grays of linoleum and the decorative tiles. These principles were developed in all the spaces of the house, of which the living room is yet to be completed. More

The Frescata® surface technology by Hasenkopf allows architects and designers an individual and complex design of walls and furniture for both indoors and outdoors. The textures are milled into the selected material in millimeter-precision. Through microshaping, non-repetitive patterns can also be processed without structural interruptions on almost unlimited surfaces. Depending on the material, the surface structure can also play a role in the acoustics, for example in the "Weiße Haut" at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.
