They remained faithful friends, even when their friendship seemed impossible. The very time they lived in was against their connection: the relations between the United States and the USSR were at a fever pitch. Mobile exhibition system is the collection of the objects made of steel sheet which are a practical response to the needs of the project of Przystań Sztuki. The choice of material was based primarily on the criterion of resistance to frequently changing weather conditions and ease of maintaining its cleanliness and aesthetics. The sheet metal used for the construction of the objects has undergone a process of accelerated oxidation which allowed obtaining a protective function against corrosion. The oxidation also made it possible to give the displays an aesthetic look: thanks to their raw form and copper color, they perfectly fit in the space between the post-industrial Concordia building and the modern architecture of the Bałtyk Office. DP Architects is proud to present the winning design of the official Archifest 2016 Pavilion in Singapore.Drawing inspiration from the festival’s theme of ‘Exhale’, the design aims to re-examine the often breathless pace of life associated with a dense city. DP Architects’ gigantic, technicolour inhabitable urban sculpture plays on the interaction of primary colours which overlap to produce a vibrant spectrum of secondary and tertiary colours that induce visitors to forget about the stressful city life and ‘Exhale’.Composed entirely of construction site materials, the design seeks to playfully refresh the city by injecting vibrant swathes of colour in a public space by way of a psychedelic pavilion. Some of the finest examples of Japanese textile and metal craftsmanship of the Meiji period were exhibited inside Moscow Kremlin, on the ground floor of the 17th century Patriarchy Palace and Uspenskaya bell tower. The expositional design ought to resolve the conflict between the sophisticated and hefty historical architecture and the unrelated exhibition content.    The answer to this was to approach the display infrastructure as an insertion or transplant  helping to distance the exhibits from the architectural context and create a completely independent space, separate from the historical interior yet not conflicting with it in any way. Since 2010, Mozilla has promoted Mozfest, one of the most interesting events in the internet world. For the 2016 edition, lamatilde worked with TODO, automato.farm and Leva, to raise awareness on five themes (privacy, web literacy, digital inclusion, open innovation and decentralization), designing five installations with a mix of physical and digital interaction. Our challenge was finding a coherent code for all five structures, and coming up with the solutions to make them both inclusive and outstanding in the busy festival environment. n 2018, the National Institute of Education Visitor's Learning Centre (NIEVLC) was revealed. Limelight atelier partnered with leading exhibtion & gallery designers - FARM, for the specialist lighting design of the space. One of the key objective was to limit the energy consumption yet providing a brilliant lighting scheme, in bringing out the various brilliance of the gallery. The gallery pays tribute to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, and important educators, both past and present.
