The project is a renovation and transformation of a historic hay barn into an exclusive alpine hideaway set within a pristine, tranquil landscape in Val di Fassa. Situated on a 6,000 m² meadow at 1,450 meters above sea level, the house enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding peaks, offering complete privacy while maintaining an intimate connection with nature. The residence blends discreetly into a natural amphitheater of rare beauty where the verticality of the rocks meets the gentleness of high-altitude meadows. We are in the presence of the Eastern Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in a landscape dominated by the unmistakable silhouettes of great peaks rising majestically against the sky. On the Monte Pana plateau in St. Christina, the Hotel Cendevaves has been expanded by an architectural composition that integrates into the Dolomites’ landscape with restraint and sensitivity. The extension is conceived not as a contrast, but as a continuation – in materiality, scale, and atmosphere. Situated on a sunlit clearing with sweeping views of the Dolomites, the Ansitz Velseck Residence Hotel is a place that breathes history while providing space for the present. The ensemble revolves around a historic manor, meticulously preserved, while the hotel’s extension has been executed with great restraint. Some time ago we were called to design an apartment just purchased by a Milanese family of 4, in Pinzolo (TN), on the beautiful Brenta Dolomites. The unit was in the context of a building under construction that imposed us some structural constraints determined by the chosen construction system. The Felsenhaus is a unique private residence embedded directly into a natural rock formation. The architectural concept is based on the archaic idea of living within a cave, translated into a contemporary living environment that merges nature, structure, and precision engineering. The Punta Rocca station on the Marmolada, located at 3,265 metres above sea level, represents the highest panoramic terrace in the Dolomites and a technically highly demanding high-altitude construction project. The building is exposed to extreme climatic conditions, limited accessibility, and complex logistical constraints due to its alpine location. Holiday home in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites. The project is based on the place that once hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics. Every single detail has been questioned, from the choice of materials; Corten to remain faithful to the construction technology up to Briccola wood for interior furnishing.The entire project was carried out by local workers where craftsmen of unquestionable skill allowed the realization of the client's wishes. The Timmelsjoch is the deepest, non-glaciated indentation in the main Alpine ridge between the Reschen Pass and the Brenner Pass.A road, once a mule track, links the Passeiertal valley and the Ötztal valley. The idea of remodelling this house in the Dolomite mountains at the border between Italy and Austria started because of an uncomfortable living situation. The existing building presented a very large and high entry hall with the rooms arranged around it, and it was always necessary to walk through it to move around the house. On the ground floor, the kitchen, dining room, living room and the stube were not proportioned to the size of the house and they couldn’t get enough light. For this reason the entire ground floor has been demolished, and a new interior clear glass envelope with a gyp wall inserted is now the only separation among the different spaces.
