The project is a duplex located on the top floor of a Parisian building.
A complete refurbishment requested by the new owners, a family with two children.
The entrance is on the lower level. A full-length balcony faces the bedrooms. This is the children's floor.
The existng staircase leads to the living areas on the upper floor. A living room, dining room and kitchen benefit from an unobstructed view thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
In the background, a large imposing volume encloses the universe of the parents; a dressing room and a bathroom. A small staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor under the roof.

Saint-Roch Duplex Apartment
Louis Denavaut was asked to renovate and decorate a duplex owned by two artists. The apartment is located between the Tuileries garden and the Opéra Garnier, with a breathtaking view of the dome atop the Saint Roch church on rue Saint-Honoré.

The living room, flooded with light from a spectacular round window facing the Saint Roch church, has a 1970s Italian table and a custom-designed banquette made from panels of bleached oak with leather cushions.Above this living room is a white steel mezzanine with a glass floor and a large bleached oak-frame window. The railing was inspired from vintage ocean liners, with sanded and varnished steel eyelets.

Rauti-Huus, Zurich
Together with the neighbouring building at Albisriederstrasse 226, the commercial building designed by Rudolf Kuhn in 1947 forms an architectural ensemble whose consistent urban appearance forms a piece of Zurich’s industrial architecture. The subtle façade modulations, the rhythmic design of the stair towers and the large and bright entrance areas are typical of the late 1940s. Subsequent additions and extensions were removed and the four-storey concrete frame building was extended with a lightweight timber construction.
