Limelight Hotel
Situated adjacent to the Sun Valley, Ketchum, Idaho is a small mountain town that’s big on natural splendor. The best architectural design is informed by its surrounding environment so this place, more than most, is bound to have some gems. Case in point, the Limelight Hotel in Ketchum.
We had the great pleasure of sitting down with Sarah Broughton of Rowland + Broughton Architects to talk about the condominiums she and her team designed for the Limelight. When you view photographs of this space you might see a warm and inviting place, with clean modern lines and a gorgeous fireplace in the center.

Walter Gropius gets all the acclaim in Massachusetts. Perhaps it’s because he taught at Harvard and his Gropius House in Lincoln, MA, looms large as a pillar of early modernist American architecture. Kona Grill with Tenore 240 Fireplace
Sky Adler is the Senior Director of Architecture and Design for Kona Grill, a fine dining restaurant specializing in sushi and an array of handmade cocktails. Sky cut his teeth in design while living in LA and working in the film industry as a production designer for over a decade.One of the first things I noticed when I walked into the new Kona Grill in Minnetonka, MN was how theatrical the whole experience was. A giant blue LED bubble wall greets you for your red-carpet entrance. Over by the bar, the sushi chef is cutting sashimi on his illuminated stage. Breckenridge Bliss

Step outside and you are dwarfed by a perfect snow-capped mountain (can’t miss photograph below) and a grove of old-growth pines swaying in the winter breeze. Nature, it seems, has even permeated his walls and crept into every nook and designed cranny of the home. Flour Bakery with 360 Fireplace
Welcome to Flour Bakery in Cambridge, MA. When you walk through the door your senses are pleasantly lulled into submission by the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls, the sight of reclaimed wood, and the warmth rolling off a 4-sided modern fireplace right in the center of it all. This space was designed by David Hacin and his team at Hacin + Associates. The Tribeca Loft with Tenore 240 Fireplace
Melanie Williams: Bespoke Interiors is a London-based architecture and interior design consultancy that mainly works in local high end residential projects. One of their most recent projects took them across the pond and into a New York City [Tribeca] apartment.Many of their signature design elements such as intricate textures, industrial materials, and subdued color palettes are featured alongside a beautiful 8-foot wide see-through fireplace by Element4.
