The Chopin Muzeum is the result of an international competition. Held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Migliore+Servetto Studio won the permanent exhibition project in 2008, amongst 32 international firms. The project is developed like an “open museum” made of different theme paths the visitors may choose to follow. The need to exhibit with clarity and immediacy different thematic areas determined the development of different exhibition structures which comprise a system of emotional landscapes and soundscapes capable of capturing the attention and curiosity of the visitors by stimulating all their senses.
