What first meets the eye when taking a glance at the Elea sofa is the gorgeous grain on the solid timber sides combined with the almost monolithic cushioning and upholstery. If you take the time to appreciate it, one will come to the realisation that the sofa appears to be hovering off the ground. Meticulously engineered and carefully machined, the slim but sturdy height-adjustable legs are at just the right height to make the sofa appear floating above the ground which led us to aptly name the sofa 'Elea', which means 'float' in Swahili.

Dining table 'Ode to Prouvé'
The design of this table originated from a commission for clients. After looking at numerous designer tables, they could not see the wood from the trees: too large, too subtle, too much wood, too much steel. An intensive process between clients and producing partners formed the basis of the design. The combination of wood and metal demands extra attention because of the curved shapes. The inspiration of Jean Prouvé and Scandinavian models from the sixties are clearly distinguishable in the design.

Hertug is an elegant dining chair recognisable by the lines between the backlegs and backrest. It was originally drawn for Viken Møbelfabrikk in Bergen by Fredrik A. Kayser while he was a freelance designer. Kayser graduated from National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in 1945. He designed Hertug with a simple and organic form to make it fit into all kinds of interiors. The seat has a light and floating effect created by only touching the frame where necessary, while the backrest makes you see and feel true craftsmanship.

Era is an innovative chair with a modern material mix. It was showcased at the Association of Applied Arts´ autumn exhibition in the mid 1950´s. Sven Ivar Dysthe’s prototype in steel, wood and leather was honoured in the Norwegian magazine Bonytt as the exhibition´s most interesting product. Venoe Church is the smallest church under the Danish Church Ministry. The interior area is 41.2 sq.m. (4.2 x 9.8 meters).The original part of the stone-walled church was built in the late Middle Ages, after the Reformation, approximately 1540, and extended towards the west during the 17th century, to its present size. The little entrance porch was added in 1863. The church has undergone two major refurbishments and new features in recent times – approximately 1880 during the Inner Mission’s arrival on the island of Venoe, and now in 2016-17.
