What first meets the eye when taking a glance at the Elea sofa is the gorgeous grain on the solid timber sides combined with the almost monolithic cushioning and upholstery. If you take the time to appreciate it, one will come to the realisation that the sofa appears to be hovering off the ground. Meticulously engineered and carefully machined, the slim but sturdy height-adjustable legs are at just the right height to make the sofa appear floating above the ground which led us to aptly name the sofa 'Elea', which means 'float' in Swahili.
The framework is made from solid timber using traditional carpentry techniques to ensure a rigid and durable sofa frame after which the loose cushions are precisely marked and formed to be seamlessly integrated into the sofa frame. A soft, patterned, commercial-grade fabric is chosen for the upholstery to give it a gorgeous mid-century modern appearance that can stand the test of time.
Finished in our signature natural oils & waxes and sitting on rubber-tipped legs, the Elea sofa is a great selection for any residential or commercial space with any floor surface or finish.
