Detail: Design of “the village upside down”
Hub of Huts is a real-life Alice-in-Wonderland construction that is mysterious and mischievous, enchanting and entrancing. Described as “the village upside down,” it is a project by architectural firm NOA. Located in Olang, a municipality in South Tyrol in northern Italy, Hub of Huts is a dedicated well-being center that belongs to the Hotel Hubertus.

In Finland, a nation known for the sauna, Saunaravintola Kiulu by Studio Puisto operates as both sauna and restaurant, as well as a stage for impromptu events in the city. The restaurant offers dining experiences ranging from formal to casual while the two saunas offer a range of sauna experiences ranging from a community-driven bathing experience or a more intimate, closer one. The spaces, from private to intimate, are unified via a shared terrace near the adjacent lake and surrounding nature.

YOKU’s essential, well-balanced minimalist design is also warm, welcoming and natural. The heater is built into the lowest bench thus displaying an uncluttered, linear effect. The large glass panel at the front features vertical elements in natural wood on the outside, which make the space inside more private and provide shelving that is open to the external environment.
YOKU is available in three different types of wood: heat-treated aspen, heat-treated solid wood and Canaletto walnut in sizes 230 x 200cm, 202 x 180cm, 174 x 170cm and 174 x 132cm. More
