Iglucraft creates handcrafted sanctuaries that inspire slow living, while offering a luxurious escape into the beauty of nature. Nestled at the crossroads of timeless craftsmanship and contemporary design, Iglucraft's Premium Sauna is an art form in creating immersive experiences in harmony with nature.
Every detail of this sauna is a testament to the skilled artisans in the heart of Estonia. Using ancient shingling techniques that date back to the 12th century, its striking arched roof is covered in thousands of wooden shingles, each one meticulously placed by hand. This intricate process takes countless hours, with the craftsmen leaving their mark not just in the careful placement of each shingle but also on a nameplate by the door—a small yet meaningful nod to their dedication.
The exterior of the sauna gracefully weathers over time, blending seamlessly with its natural setting. Inside, elegantly contoured benches and tactile wood finishes create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The warmth of locally sourced timber enhances the sense of tranquility, fostering a deep sensory connection to nature.
This premium model elevates the sauna experience with a dedicated steam room and a separate relaxation space. Panoramic windows provide breathtaking, unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape, ensuring that nature remains an integral part of every moment spent inside. The unique curved shape of the sauna allows steam to rise and cascade downward, enveloping the space in soothing heat.
Constructed with locally sourced timber from Estonia and shingles produced by a factory in southern Estonia, its materials are carefully chosen to minimize environmental impact. The sauna is crafted in a small village in central Estonia, reflecting Iglucraft’s commitment to intimate, thoughtful production practices that honor both nature and tradition..
For Iglucraft, the Premium Sauna is more than a structure; it is a space for slowing down, reconnecting, and embracing simplicity. Founder Priit Kallas encapsulates the vision: “I believe in honoring traditional techniques while integrating them with the comfort and sensibility of today.”
From the timeless design to its seamless integration with any environment, the Premium Sauna represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship, comfort, and sustainability.
