YMCA Residential Centre - Flagship for the future Through a land swap deal between the YMCA charity, MK council and MKDP (the council's business arm), the charity invested 13 million pounds to demolition their existing 1970s building in the heart of Milton Keynes and build a new 13-storey high-rise block on half of the space.   The building, as well as providing affordable homes for young people, would include conference room facilities, meeting rooms, a nursery, a cafe and space for local businesses. The ground floor level will also offer employment and training opportunities to stimulate social enterprises. A retail experience that embraces the history of The Bund as an important port and art-deco district. CHALLENGEFor this project, we were tasked with designing a flagship retail experience in Shanghai for fashion brand Ports 1961. The design had to embrace the history and character of The Bund, a downtown cultural district known for its art-deco style and—history as one of China’s most important ports—while creating a signature brand system that could be applied in locations around the world. Located at the Hilton Durban, the design seamlessly blends with South Africa’s diverse topography. Guests can enjoy local fare, as well as wines from Els’s own vineyard. More

Chefslab is the result of Sergio Perez’s idea of his ideal gastronomic space. He desired a place for organizing exclusive events and cooking workshops. This is Chefslab flagship space. The main challenge of this project resided in the low budget and the preexistence whilst creating an unique experience. The overall design aim is to focus on minimal interventions in order to achieve maximum impact: _Ordering the space by dividing the area in one silver served open-plan room and a couple of black/darker servant zones (kitchen, laboratories, and storage). VONDOM opens it's new flagship store in New York made up of an extensive display of front line furniture, rugs and lighting displayed in a 300m² area. Our shop can be found in the D&D Building, at number 979, 3rd Avenue, Manhattan. This is an 18 story building completely devoted to decoration and design, encompassing many showrooms distributed in various suites. In this space the latest natural colours, such as taupe, ecru and kakhi emerge, distinguishing themselves with a special touch along with our leading colour, white. This all makes for a bright, sophisticated and very dynamic atmosphere created by the furniture's blend of natural and geometrical shapes.
