At Golestaneh
We are an architect couple. In a large, crowded city like Tehran, our work involves designing and supervising building projects; a pleasant yet full-time and demanding job. We always wanted to build a space for ourselves to spend our weekends away from the busyness of work and thoughts, or to rest a bit there after delivering each project. A place to refresh our minds and bodies, and a space for loving and living together. A place different from our studio or even our apartment, but as simple and logical as ourselves and our architecture. A familiar, intimate, comfortable, white space.

Orange Architects completes compact wooden vacation home with flexible interiors
Along the northern Dutch coast, on the Wadden Island Texel, Orange Architects designed a compact wooden retreat. The design is tailored to the way in which the clients want to spend their vacation. A place that breaks with daily routine and maximises the relationship with its green surroundings.

Since during vacations you spend more time together and there is less need for private space, the architects maximised the functions of each space. Most have at least multiple uses. The dividing walls are made flexible and can adapt to different needs. The adaptability has allowed the firm to keep the house compact, 70 square meters, and efficient. During the day the house has no unused spaces.

Restaurant partitions in a Scandinavian-inspired dining concept
A refined approach to restaurant partitionsBathed in natural light, Restaurant Smørrebrød in Clermont-Ferrand is defined by clarity and calm. Tall windows flood the interior with daylight, while a soft palette of whites, pale wood, and sculptural furniture creates a serene, almost gallery-like atmosphere. Within this setting, restaurant partitions are introduced not as barriers, but as subtle architectural layers.
