Papillon Shading System
Papillon, designed by industrial designer Giulio Iacchetti for MV Line and first presented at Milan Design Week 2025, redefines outdoor shading systems by transforming the classic outdoor parasol into a design installation. Its horizontal opening, inspired by the movement of butterfly wings, combines innovation, functionality and style, providing effective sun protection with a lightweight design and no central obstruction, keeping the space completely open and unobstructed.
When closed, the fabric folds underneath the structure, remaining protected when not in use. Papillon comes as standard with a vibration-based anemometer, which protects the fabric by automatically closing it in case of strong winds.

The Bloom umbrellaFive years ago, the Royal Botania Palma umbrella was the attraction of the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The smooth organic lines of this first strutless automatic garden umbrella were so appreciated that the Red Dot Award jury gave Palma the Best of the Best prize and featured it on the front cover of their yearbook. Now Bloom has seen the light of day. It retains the clean lines and organic shape of the Palma but is technically a completely different masterpiece. To allow for bigger sizes of canopy, the pneumatic system of the Palma has been replaced by a lever-operated spindle system in Bloom.
