À Raum

À Raum derives from the French phrase meaning “into space”, though we interpret it as an invitation to gather. In a school where children learn through bodily movement, À Raum offers a counterbalance: a spatial pause designed for stillness, reflection, and mindfulness. Like standing before the sea or walking into a forest, the space invites a return to the self—a rereading of the mind through the body, and the body through space. The architectural language begins with a subtle asymmetry: a circular footprint gently offset to create an arc. This arc defines a threshold that is marked by a soft, curved curtain that introduces a sense of ritual when entering the room. Within this arc, a square platform is sun... More

Green Court Residences

The Green Court Residences is an unique apartment building unit in Budapest’s condominium architecture because of its volume and façade formulation. The architects designed the building based on elegancy and generosity required by the Client, which is most noticable by the moderate color-use, yet exciting façade geometry. The façade’s character is created by the balconies’ zigzag geometry. The balcony slabs and balustrades protrude and are set back the same way in opposite directions on the different floors, creating a rhytmically changing surface. Tamás Bujnovszky Generally, it isn’t easy to formulate balconies not shading each other too much, therefore the architectural solution ca... More

Edenland Pedestrian Bridge in Luxelakes

DESCRIPTION Edenland Pedestrian Bridge in Luxelakes  - An Alternative Expression of Natural Order Arch-Exist Edenland Pedestrian Bridge connects LuxeIsland and Edenland in Luxelakes, aimed to enhance the connection between the community clusters, parks and green spaces, and commercial areas of the space. Arch-Exist While the order of nature, as Le Corbusier perceives, lies in the geometry it contains; Paul Cézanne captured nature through the sphere, cone and cylinder (Paul Cézanne said "Everything in nature is formed upon the sphere, cone and cylinder"). Arch-Exist Here the newly constructed Edenland Pedestrian Bridge differentiated itself from other winding pedestrian bridges in Luxelakes with an aest... More

10-POINT INTERVIEW 1. What is your name? Pamela 2. Where were you born? Tivoli in the province of Rome 3. Where do you live? Medolago in the province of Bergamo 4. Your favourite colour ? Blue in all its shades 5. The city where you would live best? I have moved many times and each time it was the right place for me at that time. I have realised over time that there is no place I would live better than in the present. It took me a while to accept my strongly nomadic identity, even though my actions spoke and speak for themselves. Let's say that in a way I have made peace with myself and to this day I can say that here in Medolago, on the island of Bergamo, I am comfortable. photo by Eleonora Cova Minotti photo by Eleonora Cova...
