Private house in Paros

The property is located in close proximity to the sea, but due to the nature of its topography, there is no direct view of it. The area has low grass and shrub vegetation and no existing natural protection from the sun. These factors, together with the investor’s wish for a house larger than the permitted above-ground construction on the island, are fundamental in the development of the project idea. The project is about redoing an empty and unused flat, a leftover basement of anAthenian block of apartments. Located at the north slope of Lycabettus Hillin Athens, the flat had a single opening into an enclosed atrium, and a pair of ceilingskylights. In Ancient Greek society, it was deemed a high level of heroism or greatness for those who managed to return. This journey is usually very extensive and includes being shipwrecked in an unknown location and going through certain trials that test the hero. Deloitte, one of the world’s leading consulting companies, decided to reorganize part of its headquarters in Marousi in order to reach the capacity needed in relation to its human dynamic. At the same time, the work environment aesthetics and optimization of unused spaces was a crucial parameter for the building’s transformation. A&M was assigned with the Design & Build of the space using Deloitte’s parameters, international ergonomics and safety standards as guidelines. Summer House in Karpathos

Sitting on one of the highest points of Karpathos, a authentic yet contemporary residence made its appearance on the rocky terrain of Othos with traditional forms and patterns taken straight from natural local sources. Sheltered Villas

Blending into a 12,000 sqm site in Karpathos, on a secluded area on the outwards of Menetes village, three villas make their appearance in the most humble way.   With a 23% site slope, the villas emerge from the landscape in a linear arrangement parallel to the view, respecting the natural topography. Placed amphitheatrically, the three villas have unobstructed views to the Aegean Sea while offering privacy and seclusion to their guests.
