Designed according to the principles of bioclimatic architecture, the project takes into account local climatic conditions and the dynamic interplay with the surroundings. The residential units follow a circular arrangement, forming an idealized ring around the central communal space while maintaining the privacy and autonomy of each home. Their placement adheres to the natural topography of the land, allowing for an organic and harmonious integration into the landscape.
The complex consists of six residences, each featuring a private swimming pool. The built volumes are interconnected through semi-outdoor spaces that serve as natural extensions, creating areas of respite and shade. The strategic positioning of the villas ensures unobstructed views of the coastline and a direct connection to the open horizon, while the choice of bright colors and natural materials enhances the summer ambiance and reinforces harmony with the Mediterranean landscape. The rectangular floor plan of the residences clearly organizes the functional areas, ensuring a smooth spatial flow and reinforcing a sense of order and balance.
On the ground floor, the shared living spaces of each residence are designed in an open-plan layout, encompassing the living room, kitchen, and dining area. These spaces are strategically oriented towards the sea and forest, fostering a seamless visual and spatial connection with the outdoors. The upper level houses the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, while part of the volume extends into a mezzanine, adding extra functionality to the space. Balconies and openings are strategically positioned on the front facade, taking advantage of the western and southern exposure to optimize natural light and maximize the view.
The outdoor areas are designed as natural extensions of the interiors, establishing a continuous flow of life between inside and outside. This is achieved through large openings that enhance spatial fluidity. Each outdoor space ensures privacy while simultaneously contributing to a broader collective experience.
At the heart of the complex, the communal gathering zone features seating areas under pergolas, aromatic plants, and shrubs cultivated by the residents themselves, as well as a specially designed relaxation area with a firepit, fostering a sense of community and social interaction.
