B.R.I.O. – Alles auf Schiene!
At construction site D12 in the “Neues Landgut” urban development area near the main train station in Vienna, we collaborated with our colleagues from Dietrich Untertrifaller Architekten (DTFLR) to create the resident-friendly, recyclable, inclusive, and welcoming residential project — B.R.I.O. We owe this innovative concept to the excellent collaboration with DTFLR, Simma Zimmermann Landscape Architecture, the agency for culture and urbanity art:phalanx, the team at RWT plus ZT GmbH, and our client, ÖSW.

Triebenbachstraße
The subsidized residential development on Triebenbachstrasse, located in the city of Salzburg in the state of Salzburg, Austria, was designed by the architectural firm AGRE Lechner Lechner Schallhammer for the non-profit Salzburger Wohnbaugesellschaft m.b.H. (GSWB). The project’s primary objective was to create 41 residential units distributed across four distinct volumes. The development occupies the site of the former "Aukarl" farm, with two historic sculptures from the original site thoughtfully integrated into and restored within the new architectural composition.

CoCo Cha Taiwan Tea & Coffee - Castle of Glass, a project by PT Arch Studio, is a unique design that aims to create a classic castle in the middle of a modern city. The concept is to blend two timeless architectures and create a strong contrast in design intent.

The construction site posed a challenge due to its small width and deep length. The main concern was to ensure harmonious light throughout the entire space and avoid creating the feeling of moving too far between different areas for customers. Wientalterrasse
The Vienna Terraces are one of the new design measures developed in the Vienna Valley Urban Development Plan that addresses the urgent localized need to provide more public open space for the 5th and 6th Viennese districts. Bridging over the entrenched U4 subway line, the terraces expand the existing public space directly to the edge of the Vienna River. The pedestrian and cycling routes along the south bank of the Vienna River are reconceived as a welcoming, linear public space with recreational and social qualities. The design elements and materiality, i.e. abundant planters, natural vegetation and integrated wooden seating, invite public use while also fostering a positive connection with nature and water recreation.
