Bay Pearl
Light, soft interiors and tactile brick walls — Bay Pearl is a new renovation and second storey addition to an existing Brighton family home. Sitting less than 1km from Port Phillip Bay, this significant renovation has reconfigured the orientation to enjoy the protected north facing garden and the new internal courtyard.

The external metal shell protects the lofty internal spaces. Expressed raw, silvery brickwork and inky, black charred-timber cladding lend a honed refinement to the built form. Internally, our lustrous palette includes soothing light, oyster tones. Finely detailed steel elements contrast with lush wool carpet.

Courtyard House
The entirety of a terraced Victorian property in Stoke Newington was redesigned and extended, keeping only the building’s bare tectonic skeleton, due to the lack of structural integrity. The length of the floorplan meant that there was a need for natural light to reach the middle part of the house, thus the idea was born to retain a part of the rear garden as a courtyard that would sit amongst the functional layout of the space and provide not only light, but also vital cross ventilation and visual connection. Schindler City by Neri&Hu challenges industrial park typology
Located in Jiading, just outside of Shanghai’s city centre, Schindler City is a new 32,5000 square meter headquarters designed by Neri&Hu for the world-renowned elevator manufacturer Schindler. Containing offices, factories, warehouses, research facilities, and a showroom, the architects sought to overcome the sense of isolation and vastness that characterizes many industrial facilities by emphasizing human scale landscape elements and public spaces throughout the project.
