Yellow Cloud Studio is an award-winning, design-led London-based architecture and design practice, undertaking large and medium-scale projects throughout the UK and Europe. It was founded by Eleni Soussoni and Romanos Tsomos in 2013.
The work ethos of the studio derives from the diverse architectural studies of its founders and their passion for exploring new ideas, challenging stereotypes and improving the quality of spaces. The direct result is an architectural language that aspires to create a seamless symbiosis of form and function, using natural light and materiality as the main tools.
Each project is treated with unique attention to detail, innovative thinking and spatial analysis. From large-scale to bespoke interior and custom-made products, YCS aspires to provide interdisciplinary design tailored to enhance the experience of each space by the user.
The distinct character of our design derives from our philosophy to reveal the pure architectural form of each space, celebrating its strengths with natural and honest materiality and concealing its weaknesses with smart layout solutions.The result is what we have grown into calling “soft minimalism”, a confident design statement that doesn’t need to shout for attention and survives the test of time and architectural trends.
During the past 12 years, Yellow Cloud Studio has completed a multitude of residential, retail and commercial projects and has been repeatedly shortlisted and longlisted for various awards including the New London Architecture and Dezeen Awards, while their work has been widely published in Dezeen, Archdaily, Enki magazine, Grand Designs and Elle Decoration among others.
