10 Design has won a competition to design Landmark 55 in the emerging Starlake Urban Area of Hanoi, Vietnam.The 178,888sqm development includes two towers, containing a 55 storey hotel  and  condominium hotel tower with a dramatic sky-lobby and a 41 storey office tower. A four storey retail pavilion is located between both towers in the middle of the site with an active F&B roof garden and a hotel amenity terrace that connect across the site. Temenos is a company specializing in enterprise software for banks and financial services, with its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Density has always been a strong characteristic in the urban design of Hanoi. Historically horizontal concentration has been typical and more recently vertical construction has intensified the capital. Going against the trend of compressing building density, the Organic Café plays with architectural contrasts to propose a resilient microcosm within the urban context. Being the second aviation fuel supplier in Vietnam, Petrolimex Aviation's Board of Director wants to bring the company’s culture and brand identity into the office architecture. Our core idea is to embody the company's trademark to the aesthetically pleasing and functional layout. The architects used two signature colours that reflect the theme of Petrolimex. Orange symbolises an oil drop, while the dark blue represents the ocean.
