Interior design and brand identity for the Sant Joan Institute Rai Pinto Studio, together with Arauna Studio, has completed an interior design and corporate identity project for the Sant Joan Institute, an orthopedic clinic in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona, specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents. The new Correll Pavilion represents Grady Health System’s largest capital investment in 30 years. HOK designed the 10-story ambulatory surgical and outpatient facility, which is adjacent to Grady Memorial Hospital downtown. The Pavilion expands clinical capacity by 45% and operating rooms by 25%, allowing Grady to add over 200 hospital beds by relocating outpatient services. The interiors of the MIGRE Migraine Treatment Center in Wroclaw, designed by hanczarstudio, are a soothing, patient-friendly space, devoid of stimuli that exacerbate malaise during attacks of migraine pain. It was the needs of patients, not fashionable trends, that had a decisive influence on the final design of this space. Migraine is a neurological disorder characterized by severe, throbbing, unilateral headache accompanied by nausea, photophobia, phonophobia. The causes of its occurrence are still not fully known.
