Holzmodulbau Tübingen

The four-story building is located on the northwestern edge of a large-scale science and technology park. The structure forms the beginning of an urban chain of individual buildings, mediating the transition from the large-scale research buildings to a smaller-scale, single-family residential area to the west. To the north, the building opens up to the surrounding fields. As part of the University of Tübingen's Excellence Strategy, research spaces for machine learning were created here. The modular wooden building was prefabricated in series and could be erected within just seven months. The building meets high sustainability standards.
