Base Street Trio
Base Street Trio is a three-apartment row house situated in Tammisalo neighborhood of eastern Helsinki, Finland. Tammisalo is an old residential area with mostly single family homes and row houses built after 1950’s, but the history goes beyond that as the area was a part of 19th century mansion grounds. Being an island Tammisalo is surrounded by water and small forests. Nature is present everywhere as characteristic old and tall pine trees grow on many yards of many homes.

TWO ANGLE HOUSE
The Two Angle house, located in the seaside town of Mount Eliza in Victoria, Australia, is about contrast. The interior and exterior are a play on the contrast between two angles of internal organization, the contrast between warm and cold materials and a considered contrast between architecture and landscape. The two angles within the layout of the design are immediately expressed upon entry into the house. Folding House
Inspired by the site context and defining character, the intention of Folding House was to minimise the impact on the location and surrounding scenery by embedding the house into the hill side.The concept began with an existing ‘zig zag’ pathway. This path was then continued in the form of a folding, solid ribbon, creating habitable spaces between the plans. Solid timber boxes were inserted in between where private space was required, with the remaining space offering open plan living with a connection to the expansive balconies and stunning views beyond.The accommodation is split over three floors with the upper floor situated at ground level. Balaclava Townhouses
A striking facade and textured brickwork with subtle angles, Balaclava is an exciting development and a welcome addition to the surrounding streetscape of William Street. The architecture exudes a dynamic play of natural light, movement and shadow, conveyed by multi-faceted exteriors and textured surfaces.Continuing with a lighter palette of natural tones, the materials of the interiors of Balaclava complement the architecture.
