LED cobblestones application in a parking lot in
For extreme climate conditions, such as in Saudi Arabia where temperatures rise and rapidly fall, special lights must be manufactured to resist shattering. The LED glass cobblestones, featured in this project, endure significant temperature fluctuations that can withhold the heat of the Arabian sun. As seen in figure 2, the sidewalk temperature can rise up to 67 degrees Celsius on a sunny day, which would cause problems with regular pavement lights due to the overheating of the LEDs and of the circuit components.The LED pavers were custom designed and manufactured upon request for our partners in Riyadh.
