The office redesign for Canadian law firm Stikeman Elliott introduces innovative working methods and enhances the employee and visitor experience by blending hospitality and high-end residential design into a modern, equitable workplace. Moving to a new space across two levels at Bankers Hall in Calgary, the firm sought to update its office to better reflect its identity and reputation. A standout feature of the redesign is using Banker M44-2 decorative wire mesh throughout the space, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. This modular home in Seville is made up of two large volumes of two floors each, both linked around a central courtyard that acts as the heart of the home. The interior of this Grade 2 Listed house in Spitalfields had still retained many of its original features, including timber wall partitions with panelling, original floorboards, cornicing and architraves. The concept for the cafe was inspired by the rich red-brown colors of coffee crema. Using a white base to create an atmosphere of lightness and to reflect in maximum daylight, we used a selection of red toned materials, each with a unique quality to express different elements of the architecture. Metagram The most visible event, the bar bench, positioned parallel to the mall corridor gives the frontage impetus and provides a strong visual edge to define the space. According to the motto: “Today begins the future of the past”, by Sorell Hotels Switzerland, we oriented ourselves for the restaurant renovation to the typical architectural features of the Art Nouveau halls above the restaurant and reinterpreted them in a contemporary way. The artful neon installations on the ceiling of the restaurant recall the listed stucco work, while geometrical wall reliefs made of light beige fiberglass concrete reflect the subject of the dark wooden panelling. In addition to four tattoo and one piercing rooms on the 1st floor, on the ground floor clients can find piercings, jewelery, accessories and care products presented on filigree, under-lit shelving systems, even more emphasized by glass cubes and drawer furniture.
