Inside at the “Ortobene”
Mount Ortobene is the principal landscape landmark and symbolic reference of the city of Nuoro. More than a natural feature, the mountain is deeply embedded in the collective memory of the local community. Nobel Prize-winning writer Grazia Deledda described this relationship with words that still capture the intimate and visceral bond between the city and its mountain: “Ortobene is unique in the world: it is our heart, it is our soul.”

Nuova piazza scolastica
The intervention area is located in front of the “Lucia Viano” Kindergarten in the Donatello district of Cuneo. Previously, it was a road section with a space used as a parking lot.

Mediterranean backyard
The purpose of the intervention was to take the opportunity of a backyard completely enclosed and without any "soul".
That gave us the opportunity to start with a white canvas and create a cosy landscape with the remembrance of the Mediterranean yards.

EL16.52 Sense of the Sea Café
This project combines two keywords extracted from the topographical context of Amnam-dong, Busan, "Waves of the East Sea" and "Red Strata of Amnam Park." The unit is derived from the "wave", and the method of organizing the unit is derived from the "stratum". Each layer was constructed through overlapping and rotating waveform units, and the form was composed by stacking them. Each layer becomes a visual reference point separating each floor and the program, and also a facade, structure of the building, and space itself.
