The purpose of the intervention was to take the opportunity of a backyard completely enclosed and without any "soul".

That gave us the opportunity to start with a white canvas and create a cosy landscape with the remembrance of the Mediterranean yards.

Carefully choosing the vegetation, it's possible to achieve the desired goals for this intervention. The Olive tree plays a main role in the development of the yard.

The vegetation is suited to develop around the walls creating a sense of softness in contrast with the hardscape of the background.

The choice of the materials like wood (furniture and deck) and stone paving was set to bring an organic feeling, as it makes part of the idea of a homogeneous landscape.

The yard is to be perceived as an "escape" from the movements of the city, bringing the coziness and intimacy that is so desired in a city center.
