Hurst Avenue
Mulroy Architects have successfully rebuilt and delivered an extensive family home of outstanding quality and size in London’s Crouch End. The practice was appointed to achieve a large extension that would drastically transform the 327 sqm house from its previously small bedrooms, cramped communal spaces, and non-existent connection to the garden – into 450 sqm of bright and open common areas and generous bedrooms, with rich views of the luscious, landscaped gardens – forming a seamless relationship between the interior and exterior.

Estate Caendorp - development of 24 houses
A NEW CAENDORP: TO AN ESTATEThe Caendorp in Heiloo had a rich history since 1968 as a bungalow park in the green countryside. This greenery has been used by the architects as a starting point, resulting in a sustainable and modern housing project, that new residents will enjoy immensely.
COAST
LOCATION: EXISTING GREENThe site has many mature existing trees and plants, which are almost completely preserved in the new landscape design by the architects. Jos Hoope: “You often see in new construction projects that it takes over 10 years to create a location that is fully green. At the Caendorp, the existing greenery was a real gift, which we kept as much as possible. The plan focus is mainly on nature and biodiversity.”

Wilasa
Wilasa is a luxurious villa designed on a plot size of 80X60ft with the built space spanning across half the site and the other half is well utilized for landscape design.

EXTERNAL LANDSCAPING OF PANAYIA ASTATHKION CHAPEL
The project called for the much needed clearing, creation of accessible external spaces and landscaping around the 16th century Chapel. The aim was to allow all users to be able to enjoy this incredible building and surrounding spaces whilst also making the site secure and functional.
