Azul del Carmen is a Project that responds to how the world of hospitality has evolved. Every day, Airbnb offer grows worldwide. In a highly touristic destiny such as Playa del Carmen, this offer grows quickly. The building is set on a small 245sqm lot, which obliged to a vertical development, which has 4 units, each one with 110sqm. On top, a roof garden with a bar, lounge and infinity pool for all guests. New offices and showroom for DOW in Antwerp Design and execution of new offices and showroom for Dow in Antwerp. This new space might be located in an empty floor of an existing offices building with a traditional structure, which was to be kept, but without letting this impact the project from getting an unique character. Acapulco GP is a residential apartment in one of the most exclusive high-rise towers in Punta Diamante. The apartment was designed for a large family who wanted to spend the weekends relaxing and enjoying the beach life. Aiming for tranquility and a soothing vibe, the project applied a reinterpretation of the textures and colors of the beach in a way that the client could have the perfect getaway place.Before the intervention, the apartment had old worn-out materials, with tones that were not appropriate for the climate of Acapulco and its spaces were too compartmented. Housing architecture reflects the way in which we understand our being-in-the-world, and represents the conjunction of wishes, wills, emotions and ideals.
